MEET OUR FITNESS INSTRUCTORS!
Since 2012, I’ve dedicated myself to creating inclusive fitness experiences as a fitness instructor. My classes are designed for everyone, regardless of fitness level, offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced modifications in every class. All participants will feel both challenged and successful.
My goal is for you to leave every class with a sense of accomplishment, joy, and fulfillment. With me, exercise is more than just a workout—it’s a fun and empowering experience.
As a fitness instructor, my top priority is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where everyone feels welcome. I believe that fitness should be fun and empowering, and there’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing someone smile after a hard workout or helping ease their anxiety as they walk through the door.
Being part of each person’s fitness journey—supporting them with care and encouragement—is what makes this work so fulfilling. I’m here to help you feel strong, confident, and inspired every step of the way.
Barbara brings nearly two decades of experience as a group fitness instructor, inspiring others to live healthier, happier lives. Alongside her work in fitness, she’s a licensed massage therapist, certified Watsu practitioner, speaker, author, coach and podcaster.
Her holistic approach combines the power of movement, mindset, and love to help others connect with themselves and Give Love Out to the World.
Originally from Brockton, MA, I served seven years in the Army National Guard as a Forward Observer, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. Currently, I am a School Resource Officer with the Hampden Police Department.
My journey into fitness began when my father took me to my first spin class about six years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since!

Growing up, I developed a deep appreciation for yoga, practicing alongside my mother and sister. The calm strength it instilled in me has always been a source of grounding and inspiration. As my journey evolved, I discovered barre, and it quickly became a passion, offering both physical challenge and mental resilience.
I’m thrilled to have joined this amazing community, where I’m confident I’ll keep growing as an instructor and enjoy a supportive tribe. Here, I’ve found my home away from home, and I look forward to what the future holds.
Embracing Fitness: My Journey from Mom to Fitness Enthusiast
As a proud mom of three sons and a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren, I always dreamed of being an active, fun-loving grandma. However, I knew I needed to make some changes to reach that goal. That’s when I walked into Sunshine’s Fitness Studio, completely unaware of how much this decision would transform my life.
My first step? A boxing personal training session. I was immediately hooked! The energy, the challenge, and the sense of community were everything I didn’t know I needed. Over the past ten years, my journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
Before joining the studio, I had already started my journey to better health by dieting and exercising on my own. But the moment I stepped into that studio, I found a supportive tribe that propelled me beyond my expectations. I’ve hiked hundreds of miles, conquered over 30 obstacle course races, and even earned my certification as a fitness instructor!
Hi, I’m Kyleen! I’m a certified fitness instructor with a deep passion for both fitness and dance. Movement has always been a big part of my life, especially Irish dance, which I continue to enjoy and incorporate into my weekly routine. I’m also a proud mom of five, and I know firsthand how challenging it can be to prioritize self-care while managing a busy life.
That’s why I’m passionate about helping others find joy in staying active. I firmly believe that taking care of yourself allows you to show up better for all the roles you fill in life. Whether it’s through high-energy Zumba classes or other fitness sessions, I love inspiring people to move, have fun, and feel strong.
